Trend Alert: Paint The City Red

Move over tangerine. There’s a new color in town and it’s a little moody. The Fall/Winter 2012 collections showcased darker colors (no surprise there) but th one hue that stood out the most was RED. Classic, Romantic, or Gothic RED was the star color during Fall/Winter 2012 runways shows.

Designers in Milan, Paris, London, and New York add an elegant twist on the fiery reds of fall. Designers Calvin Klein, Givenchy, and Alexander McQueen stand up for the scarlet total look showcasing Red hues including Oxblood. Check out designers that Autumn/Winter 2012 collection had ladies in red. So experiment with it and be ready for scrutiny by others.
